9 more weeks!
So, today I saw my baby's face again. I can't believe it. It never gets old seeing these pictures. I feel like I could stare at them all day. It amazes me so much that this little person is all curled up inside of me. I am so anxious for the day I can hold him and kiss those little lips that are so clear in this picture! Technology amazes me....but our Creator.....so much more!

Easter Co-op
Co-op was really fun the Friday before Easter. For science, we studied creation vs. evolution so the kids read through creation in the bible. For History, they studied the Crusades. Then, we had a fun snack and craft for Easter.
The end product was really cute. here is a bouquet of all of my kids' lilies in a vase!!! Fun Day!
Then, the kids got to dip them half-way in milk or white chocolate, and decorate them with sprinkles!
These plates were not actually "posed" in a very cute way, but each kid ended up with 3 eggs and jelly beans to eat in the end.....happy kids!
We also made a craft of Easter Lilies and the flowers were actually created out of the kids' hand prints. (I'm a sucker for anything made out of their hand prints because it is so touching to look back on later!)The end product was really cute. here is a bouquet of all of my kids' lilies in a vase!!! Fun Day!
Tea Time!!!!
We love the Huntington Library. For years, it had been an annual tradition. the last 2 years didn't work out so we hadn't been since 2006. So sad. This year, we were actually able to make it work. One girl had a C-section a week before, one hurt her Achilles tendon, and I was 7 months pregnant. Not sure we would all get around the grounds so well, but the weather was great and we had such a nice time! So excited already for next year!
We cracked up at the above plant. We couldn't believe how huge the leaves were. Stefanie, Julie and i decided to pose by the leaves as a reference point to show just how huge it was!
Then, things got sillier and sillier. Here is our version of Anne Gedes. Hmmmm?? Think we have a future in this?

Summary of March
Well, life has been really busy! That is why I have not had a chance to update my blog in so long. the easiest way to catch up is to upload a few events as a summary. There isn't a ton of pictures of exciting things but it weighs on me to not be "current".
March 5th is my birthday. I am not one to love big parties, etc. to be thrown for me....my husband has tried it all (not that I haven't appreciated it). This year, we didn't have big plans on my birthday. Actually, my husband was scheduled to work that day and night. So, he surprised me by getting off in time to come home and make the kids and I a yummy dinner. He also brought home flowers and pie from Marie Calenders, as well as a gift. It was a nice surprise, since i thought it would be just another ordinary day at home. the kids were very excited to participate in the candle-lighting, etc. I loved being able to spend that night with all of them!
Another trip to Carpinteria. this trip was much cooler than the last one, but it was still beautiful and we still had a great time. The above pictures is one of my favorite views...it hardly "catches it".
Frank and Yvette and their kids came up to spend the day and evening with us...it was tons of fun!
We needed to add RV parking to our house, so while we were at it, we decided to add the hardscape to the front that we have always wanted. So, this is mid-process with a new wall, pilasters and the concrete on the new steps being poured. I t looks so sad without all the plants and grass but I know we'll be happy when we re-do all of that!
Lastly, a silly picture of Julia with "crazy hair" on "crazy hair day at Huckleberry Learning Center. She loved having 4 different colored braids!
